
筒仔米糕是台灣一種相當常見的美食小吃,雖然吃到不是很稀奇,但是

這家東來瓷筒米糕位於中清路二段、水湳路交叉口,雖然我已經收到口袋
裡面有一段時間,但是因為這邊不是我的平日生活圈,加上附近不太好停
車,所以一直遲遲沒機會到店用餐。
Dong Lai Porcelain Cup Rice Cake is located at the intersection of Zhongqing
Road Section 2 and Shuinan Road. Although it has been on my radar for a while,
I haven't had the chance to dine in because this area isn't part of my daily routine,
and parking nearby is quite challenging, which has delayed my visit.

因為是米糕店,所以店裡的品項包括湯品基本上都是蒸出來的。
Since it's a rice cake shop, the items in the store, including soups, are basically
steamed.

這就是拿來蒸米糕的瓷筒,一般的筒仔米糕大部分為了方便都是用不銹
鋼筒或是鋁筒,有的講究一點會用竹筒。至於用瓷筒來蒸米糕,目前台
中市區應該也只有這個系列的店家才有採用。
This is a porcelain cup used for steaming rice cakes. Generally, for convenience,
most rice cakes are steamed in stainless steel or aluminum cups, and some more
particular ones are steamed in bamboo cups. As for using a porcelain cup to steam
rice cakes, currently, in Taichung city area, probably only this series of stores
adopts this method.

旁邊還有一些還沒進鍋蒸的半成品,因為瓷筒的尺寸跟一般的金屬版本
比起來容量僅2/3左右,所以他們家的米糕尺寸會比較小一點。
Beside it, there are some semi-finished products that haven't been steamed yet.
Due to the porcelain cup's size being only about 2/3 the capacity of the typical
metal versions, the rice cakes from this store are slightly smaller in size.

瓷筒米糕(40元)

米粒看起來粒粒分明,事先炒過的米吃起來越嚼越香,上面的肉燥味道
也很香。醬料吃起來的味道,感覺用東泉辣椒醬調過,桌上也有擺讓大
家自己加。這是當然,因為這裡是台中~
滷蛋(15元) 採用的是鴨蛋,整顆看起來滷得很均勻,吃起來也很入味。
The grains of rice look distinct and clear, and the rice that has been stir-fried
beforehand becomes more fragrant the more you chew it. The minced meat on
top also tastes very fragrant. The sauce tastes like it's been seasoned with Dong
Quan chili sauce, which is also available on the table for everyone to add as they
like. This is expected, since this place is in Taichung~

滷蛋(15元) 採用的是鴨蛋,整顆看起來滷得很均勻,吃起來也很入味。
採用鴨蛋的效果,就是那蛋黃吃起來真香啊!
Braised Egg (15 NTD) uses duck eggs, which are braised evenly and are very
flavorful when eaten. The use of duck eggs results in a yolk that tastes incredibly
delicious!

蛤蜊酸菜肚(80元) 店裡湯品以燉湯的型式供應,一盅一份,除了出菜方
便之外,相對也比大鍋湯來得衛生便利。
Clam with Pickled Mustard and Pork Stomach Soup (80 NTD) is served in the
shop as a stewed soup, one pot per serving. This not only makes serving easier
but also tends to be more hygienic and convenient compared to large pot soups.

這一盅湯雖然價格比一般同等級的酸菜肚片湯貴了一點,但是裡面的用
料真的豐富很多。除了基本的肚片、酸菜之外,另外還有加了排骨,蛤
蜊等,基本上料都要比湯多了。湯頭很清、豬肚爽脆,挺不錯喝的。
Although this pot of soup is priced a bit higher than the average soup of the
same kind, such as sour mustard and pork stomach soup, the ingredients inside
are indeed much richer. In addition to the basic pork stomach slices and pickled
mustard, it also includes added ribs, clams, and more, basically having more
ingredients than the soup itself. The soup base is clear, and the pork stomach is
crunchy, making it quite a pleasant drink.
